Based on our experiences, we see that the most frequent type of accidents are the ones happen while staying parked. Most of the insured do not know what they should in this kind of situation and can not get the reimbursement for the damage because of wrong processing. Thus, knowing what you should do in the event of a damage while your car is parked prevents distresses and enables you to get the reimbursement fully.
If the person who have damaged you car is at the accident site;
You should ask if he/she has mandatory traffic insurance and you should get a copy of the registration if he has.
You should call the police to accident site without moving your car. If you can not reach the police, you should apply to nearest police station and have a report drew. You should ask that the fault of the person who damaged your car is emphasized in the report. Since you will request indemnity from traffic policy, you will not get reimbursement based on the fault or get partial reimbursement, if you do not make them emphasize.
If the person who have damaged your car is not at the accident site;
You should call and notify our firm about the damage.
